Case study - new territory

With studios in New York, Tel Aviv, Aarhus, and more than 10 others around the globe Designit is one of the biggest strategic design firms on the planet. And just recently they were acquired to grow into an even bigger global player.

Expanding their expertise in designing product-service experiences globally and locally is a key objective.

Even if the list of studio locations is long, Designit has only now landed in London to build a studio as impactful and successful as the others.

New Territory

With studios in New York, Tel Aviv, Aarhus, and more than10 others around the globe Designit is one of the biggest strategic design firms on the planet. And just recently they were acquired to grow into an even bigger global player.

Expanding their expertise in designing product-service experiences globally and locally is a key objective.

Even if the list of studio locations is long, Designit has only now landed in London to build a studio as impactful and successful as the others.

The goal

Designit came to London in June 2016. By the end of this year the goal is to build up the core team from 5 to 40 full-time hires. Talent with various experience levels are wanted, Juniors all the way up to Directors.

While it seems like a global firm like Designit should be able to turn this goal over in no time on their own, the truth looks a little different. Hiring the best talent in an entirely new environment that also fits your culture is not a simple task, especially when you should be focusing on working on the next best product-service experiences.

THE Solution

We were approached by Designit to help make the goal real and build a kick ass London studio.

The initial solution picked was our talent acquisition module, in which we provide end-to-end talent acquisition. We offer this service on a pay-per-hire or subscription basis, or as an integral part of a broader consulting engagement.
